The Israel Police, Shin Bet and IDF released a joint statement with new footage of the elimination of Hamas terrorist Farah Hamed in an airstrike yesterday in the Gaza Strip. Hamed took part in a series of attacks, including the one in which Knesset member Limor Son Har-Melech's husband, Shuli Har-Melech, was murdered in 2003. As part of his roles, Hamed advanced terror operations in Judea and Samaria in recent years and for many years was part of the 'Silwad' cell. He also took part in the shooting attack in Ein Yabrud in October 2003, in which three IDF soldiers fell: Staff Sgt. Elad Pollak, Staff Sgt. Roi Yaakov Solomon and Master Sgt. Erez Idan.
