Democrats leader Yair Golan responded to Defense Minister Israel Katz's remarks, in which he said that 'given the intentions and intelligence - if an Israeli soldier or civilian is abducted, all of Gaza City will be evacuated.' Golan wrote on X that 'three years after October 7, and the minister of evasion is begging Hamas not to dare abduct another soldier.' Yisrael Beiteinu leader Avigdor Liberman also responded to Katz's remarks and wrote that 'if three years after the massacre there is still intelligence about Hamas' intentions to abduct Israeli soldiers and civilians, this testifies to the bankruptcy of the October 7 government. Katz's statement is another joke to add to the collection of the government's empty statements.'
