Bereaved families were removed from a Constitution Committee discussion on the counter-terrorism law after protesting against outgoing Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi and Democratic Camp chairman Yair Golan. At the start of the discussion, committee chairman MK Simcha Rothman allowed bereaved families and families of hostages to speak, but the discourse devolved into attacks against the Military Advocate General and personal condemnations of Yair Golan and Ronen Bar, accompanied by shouts of 'traitors who belong in prison.' Rothman ordered the removal of bereaved family members from the 'Law and Justice' forum who caused the disruption.
