IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Zamir and head of the POW and Missing Persons Command, Maj. Gen. (res.) Nitzan Alon, were present at the POW Command post during the return of captured soldier Idan Alexander. "We are moved and welcome the return of Idan, an IDF soldier, home," Zamir said. "At the same time, we do not forget our commitment to bring back the 58 hostages who remain in Hamas captivity - they are constantly in our thoughts. We will continue to use all tools at our disposal to bring them back."
