The Israeli pavilion at the Paris Air Show in France was unexpectedly blocked this morning by the organizers and covered with black fabric. The Defense Ministry said that a day before the opening of the Paris Air Show, the exhibition organizers, on behalf of the French government, ordered Israeli defense industries to remove offensive weapons from their pavilions, contrary to standard practice at defense exhibitions worldwide. At the direction of Defense Ministry Director General, Major General (res.) Amir Baram, the ministry informed the organizers that it rejects the demand. The unilateral action was carried out in the middle of the night, after representatives of the Defense Ministry and the industries had finished preparing the pavilions and the Israeli display.
