Mossad chief Ronen Bar and CIA Director John Ratcliffe met at the White House before resuming confrontation with Iran. This was reported by Axios, which noted that the meeting, held two weeks ago, was the first time Bar visited Washington since taking office in June. The talks focused on the conflict with Iran and the nuclear program, and one of the purposes of the visit was to coordinate positions with Washington regarding negotiations with Iran. According to the report, Ratcliffe was one of the most skeptical figures in Trump's circle regarding the memorandum of understanding with Iran, and warned in advance that they would interpret the clauses concerning the strait differently.
