A report by the US House Committee on Education and the Workforce found that 'manifestations of antisemitism and radical activism' have spread throughout the activities of the country's largest teachers' union, the NEA. According to the investigation's findings, curricula in public schools included content that defined the US and Israel as terrorist states, presented Hamas as a legitimate resistance movement and erased Israel from educational maps, alongside the transfer of funds by the teachers' union to organizations disseminating antisemitic materials. Committee Chairman, Republican Congressman Tim Walberg, stated that 'parents send their children to school to learn reading, writing and math, not to be taught to hate Israel or adopt radical political agendas.'
