IDF: Lebanese Army Soldiers Removed from Security Zone After Setting Up Roadblocks in Violation of Agreements

|
IDF forces operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon earlier identified several Lebanese army soldiers who crossed into the zone and set up roadblocks without prior coordination and in violation of agreements between the sides. This was reported by the IDF Spokesperson, who added that forces acted to remove the Lebanese army soldiers after they did not withdraw, despite clarifications. In Lebanon, by contrast, they claimed that the position in the area was established on the 10th of the month in coordination with the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), 'with the aim of accompanying residents while they check their agricultural lands.'
