United Torah Judaism Chairman Yaakov Asher called Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz, who announced his retirement from running in the elections, a "mensch." He added: "I wish him great success and am sure he will return and contribute in the future from his abilities and talents to leading the state. Despite our differences of opinion, we always knew how to maintain a personal relationship, respectful dialogue and mutual appreciation. Benny is living proof that friendship and gratitude are not dependent on bloc divisions."
