The Beer Sheva Magistrate's Court extended the detention of Aviv Bmanolker (26), a Beer Sheva resident suspected of contact with a foreign agent from Iran. According to police, the young man was arrested last Thursday afternoon upon returning from abroad based on intelligence information in police possession. Police added that Bmanolker maintained contact with the foreign agent for several months about a year and a half ago. Correspondence with the agent was found on two phones in his possession. The suspect claimed that once he realized his actions were improper, he stopped, but police believe his claim is false.
