Hamas confirmed the death of Mohammed Sinwar, about three and a half months after his elimination by the IDF. In a statement released by the terror organization, his photos were distributed alongside Hamas leaders referred to as "martyrs." Sinwar, a senior Hamas official and brother of the organization's leader Yahya Sinwar whom the IDF eliminated in October 2024, was killed in an attack in mid-May on a command center beneath the European Hospital in Khan Younis. About two weeks after the attack, the IDF confirmed his elimination.
