The Palestinian Authority condemned the decision not to allow PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to travel to New York and participate in the UN General Assembly session next week. The PA Foreign Ministry called the decision "unjustified" and said it "rejects" the American decision not to approve a visa for Abbas to enter the country. The Foreign Ministry added that it views the decision as a step that contradicts efforts to build trust and develop relations between the Palestinians and the United States.
