Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited an IDF outpost in the Gaza Strip, near the Yellow Line, together with the Commander of the Southern Command and the Commander of the Lightning Division. Netanyahu said during the visit that 'we control the territory and are staying on this line. We are doing everything to achieve our goal - dismantling Hamas's weapons and demilitarizing Gaza. Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel.' Netanyahu then proceeded to a situation assessment at the Gaza Division.
