Democrats party chairman Yair Golan said at the start of the faction meeting that 'the extensive military maneuver currently being carried out is nothing but a transparent attempt to create a false impression of an imaginary achievement, as if military pressure, not American pressure, led to the deal.' At the end of his statement, Golan appealed to opposition members to unite: 'We have a country to save. I entered politics to remove Netanyahu, not to play old politics. I again invite Lapid and Gantz to unite and establish a strong democratic-liberal bloc.'
