The IDF struck a Hamas terrorist, directed by Military Intelligence and Shin Bet via the Air Force, in response to a ceasefire violation by the terrorist organization during which militants emerged from a tunnel in Rafah and attacked IDF forces operating in the area. In the encounter, five soldiers were wounded, including two seriously and two moderately.
