Kibbutz Nir Oz has begun repairing and renovating homes damaged on October 7, and demolished the first house for rebuilding. "This is an important and emotional turning point on the path to rebuilding our home," the kibbutz stated. Additionally, in recent days, renovation of nine homes was completed, which will form a central part of the Pioneer neighborhood - the first neighborhood that will house the "Nir Oz pioneers," families and individuals who will live in the kibbutz during the rehabilitation and rebuilding period. The neighborhood's population process will continue until the end of December 2025, with 20 additional homes to be built.
