Polling stations open in Tuba-Zangariyye mayoral elections, after previous mayor was removed

Polling stations have opened for the special mayoral elections in the local council of Tuba-Zangariyye, after the previous mayor Hussein Heib was removed in May due to an indictment on corruption charges. The Ministry of Interior reported that 5,135 eligible voters can cast their ballots at eight polling stations throughout the council area until 10:00 PM.
