Hostage Idan Alexander's grandmother to Netanyahu: 'Stop the war. While he's there - there's no independence'

|
Varda Ben Baruch, grandmother of Idan Alexander who is held captive in Gaza, said in an interview with ynet studio that 'I want my grandson back, who volunteered to come to Israel, enlisted in Golani and was kidnapped from his base.' Referring to Idan's video released by Hamas, she noted that he 'looks desperate and angry, and doesn't understand why he's there.' She called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: 'It's time to bring everyone home, enough is enough. U.S. envoy Whitcoff promised Idan would return home, and that was long ago. Stop the war, enough of more widows and orphans. As long as he's there, there is no independence.'
