The IDF and security forces operated last night to thwart popular terrorism in Samaria, according to an IDF statement. Throughout the week, IDF forces alongside Border Police and Shin Bet forces operated in the village of Luban al-Sharqiya in the area, due to the increase in stone-throwing incidents and firebombs originating from the village. The commander of the Samaria Brigade, Colonel A., said: "We are going house by house, searching and checking. Anyone who tries to harm residents of the sector will be arrested and sent to prison. There is a heavy price for terrorism of any kind."
