The municipalities of Yokneam and Shoham announced their joining of the protest day for the hostages on Sunday, as well as the Upper Galilee Regional Council. Council head Asaf Langlebben stated, "On Sunday I will join in support of the hostages' families. I feel obligated to support my colleagues from the regional councils in the Gaza envelope who called for support for them and the families. Together with them, I wish to strengthen my friend Danny Miran who worked at the council, in the struggle to free his son Omri. All the hostages' families are paying a heavy price, and this is the least we can do for them."
