Gil Bar-Tal, chairman of the Professional Union 'Histadrut HaMaof', called on local authorities not to open kindergartens with insufficient staffing following the kindergarten teachers' strike. 'We must not cause education support staff pressure, burnout and inability to properly fulfill their roles. The authority must find a professional replacement to fill the missing teacher position. If requirements are not met - activities should not take place.'
