Parents' lawyer in Assuta embryo case: 'Hope the other side will lay down their sword'

|
The lawyers representing the raising parents of baby Sofia in the Assuta Hospital embryo swap case, attorneys Galit Karner and Yehonatan Kanir, responded to the Supreme Court's decision that she will not be transferred to her biological parents: 'We are exceptionally moved that the right time has come for this little girl, that her parents will have peace to raise her serenely - the mother who carried her and her partner who is raising her. We hope and pray that the other side will lay down their sword and begin to speak and behave peacefully for the sake of this little girl, who deserves it.'
