National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir addressed the negotiations for a deal, stating that "the main goal is to topple Hamas. A credit-based promise of 'demilitarizing Gaza' in the future and a partial deal now that includes IDF withdrawal from captured territories, release of hundreds of murderous terrorists and resuscitating Hamas with humanitarian aid - distances us from achieving this goal and constitutes a reward for terrorism." According to him, "The only way to victory and safely returning our hostages is through complete conquest of Gaza, absolute cessation of 'humanitarian' aid and encouraging emigration. I call on the Prime Minister to withdraw from the surrender outline and return to the victory outline."
