Netivei Israel announced that tonight from 00:00 to 05:00, Highway 2 will be closed to northbound travelers between Rabin Interchange and Poleg Interchange due to installation work of signage bridges as part of the "Fast Lanes" project. During the construction, public transportation will not operate in the area, and the entrance from Shmariyahu East Interchange to Highway 20 northbound will be closed to traffic. The entrance from Shmariyahu East Interchange for southbound travelers will remain open as usual, as well as the entrance from Poleg Interchange to Highway 2 northbound.
