Trump denies anger at Hegseth: 'I am very pleased with his work'

|
U.S. President Donald Trump denied a report published yesterday in The Washington Post, which claimed he was furious with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and asked why he had been presented with a false picture regarding "the extreme shortage of ammunition." Trump responded on Truth Social, writing that "the Fake News, as usual, is spreading completely false and baseless rumors. I am very pleased with the work Pete Hegseth is doing. Everything has been exceptional, including our attack on Venezuela. Also, Iran, where the country has been fundamentally destroyed to ensure it will never have nuclear weapons, is going well! Pete is highly respected in the military and has made tremendous improvements. In reality, I truly believe their fake 'report' is tantamount to treason!
