The son suspected of murdering his mother in Rehovot was evacuated to Kaplan Hospital in the city in critical condition, after jumping from the roof of the building where he had barricaded himself for about three hours. The police reported that they had been negotiating with him to persuade him to come down, but he unexpectedly jumped from the edge of the roof and was critically injured.
