Opposition leader Yair Lapid declared in the Knesset plenum that "this Knesset is finished. You cannot continue leading us from one disaster to another, and you won't pass a draft exemption law while we see daily 'cleared for publication' announcements." He added, "Every day, Israel's children are being killed defending our homeland."
