The IDF confirmed that it struck Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in southern Lebanon, amid evacuation alerts issued for several villages in the area. "The storage facilities that were attacked were located in the heart of civilian population. This is another example of Hezbollah's cynical use of Lebanese civilians as human shields and of the organization's operations from civilian assets," the military stated. "Prior to the strike, measures were taken to reduce the risk of harm to civilians, including warning the population, using precision munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence information."
