Bolivia announced the cancellation of visa requirements for Israelis. This comes after the country, which was an attractive destination for backpackers, severed relations about two years ago - but the new president Rodrigo Paz has signaled a change in direction in recent months. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar thanked the president and stated that "this decision will allow many Israelis to return to Bolivia after many years, enjoy its rich culture and breathtaking landscapes and strengthen the ties between our peoples."
