Liberman Wants Government with Haredi Parties: 'We'll Be Flexible and Compromise, Even on Conscription'

|
Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Liberman said ahead of the mandate to form a government being assigned next week that "we must prevent a third destruction of the Temple. The election results require us all to recalculate our course." According to him, "the change government lasted a little over a year. And what did we get after it? Netanyahu with 64 mandates for four years. National responsibility requires us to make difficult decisions and be ready for painful compromises. I am strongly opposed to forming a government that will rely on abstention from the Joint List and Ra'am. On all other issues, it is permissible and desirable to be flexible and compromise. This includes the issue of the conscription law as well."
