|
The Deputy Attorney General has contacted the Director General of the Ministry of Communications, stating that "the Broadcasting bill cannot be published contrary to legal requirements." It was further stated that "the obligation to consult with the regulatory authority is a substantive and necessary stage according to law, especially regarding a significant reform in the broadcasting market that, in its current form, violates fundamental principles of free media. The government legal counsel is prepared to assist in completing the process in an orderly and proper manner in accordance with the importance and scope of the proposed law."
