Father of hostage Alon Ohel: 'To bring Alon back alive - there needs to be a deal'

|
Kobi Ohel, father of hostage Alon Ohel, addressed in an interview with ynet Studio the isolation his son is experiencing, saying that "Alon is essentially alone, Alon has been alone since February when the hostages who were with him were released. Half a year has passed and nothing has happened since. So I'm saying today is the moment to reach a deal." Regarding the plan to attack Gaza City and the mobilization of tens of thousands with emergency call-up orders, he added: "The combination of military force and negotiations will ultimately lead to the release of the hostages, but the negotiation table is much more significant here. To bring Alon back alive - there needs to be a deal."
