Talik Gvili, the mother of fallen hostage Ran Gvili, addressed the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff about moving to Phase II of the Gaza ceasefire, saying that "the prime minister called and made it clear that bringing Rani back is his top priority."
She added that "the declarative move to establish a technocrat committee and any other measure will not affect the efforts to return Rani for burial in Israel. Even the Rafah crossing has not yet been opened despite the pressure, because we insist on Rani."
