Ben Gvir issues clarification: 'I did not blame the PM - I leveled sharp criticism at him'

|
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir published a clarification regarding his statement in which he claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's negotiations for "reckless deals" led to the death of reserve Master Sergeant Avraham Azoulay. "Contrary to fake news, I did not blame the PM for the attempted kidnapping of our soldiers," Ben Gvir stated. "Netanyahu works tirelessly for Israel's security, but regarding the emerging deal, I leveled sharp criticism at him. What I said was clear and simple - when negotiating with Hamas for deals, it gives them an appetite to carry out more kidnappings."
