The National Security Ministry has acquired three new Black Hawk helicopters manufactured by Lockheed Martin-Sikorsky for the Israel Police Aviation Unit and the Fire and Rescue Services. National Security Ministry Director General Mr. Rafael (Rafoul) Angel signed an agreement to purchase a new Black Hawk helicopter for the Israel Police Aviation Unit and the Fire and Rescue Services. The current purchase completes the entire deal, in which two initial helicopters were already purchased in July 2025. Angel said that "this is a dramatic upgrade in our ability as a state to deal with fires and emergency incidents. This is a game-changing move with God's help."
