Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich responded to the suspected attempt to down a Fly Dubai plane. He wrote on X that "the State of Israel must respond to intent, not results. Whoever tried to down a plane and murder 180 Israelis must pay as if he committed murder. He and any country or terrorist organization that sent him."
