Eyewitnesses and locals reported drone attacks in the city of Jammu in Indian Kashmir, after a U.S.-mediated ceasefire with Pakistan came into effect earlier. The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, accused Pakistan of violating the ceasefire and wrote on X that explosions were also heard in the region's city of Srinagar. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that he 'thanks U.S. President Donald Trump for his leadership and role in promoting peace in the region.'
