International 'Peace Summit' to be held in Egypt on day of hostage release - without Israel

The Egyptian presidency announced that on Monday, the day when all living hostages are expected to be released, an international summit will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh under the name "Peace Summit." Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will lead the summit alongside President Donald Trump, with leaders from 20 countries participating. "The summit is intended to end the war in the Gaza Strip, strengthen efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East, and open a new page of regional security and stability," the statement said. Israel will not take part in the summit.
