Ili David, brother of hostage Avitar David whose footage in deteriorated condition was published earlier this week, addressed the UN Security Council during which he showed a picture of himself with his brother before he was kidnapped. He said that "the world has heard about Hamas's atrocities, but what is happening to Avitar and Guy is an act of calculated and deliberate cruelty. We don't know how long they will remain alive." David added: "My brother is a living skeleton, he barely has strength to walk or talk."
