Six people were injured in a fire that broke out at a nursing home on Amram Gaon Street in Bnei Brak. Two of the injured are in serious condition, three in moderate condition and one in mild condition, and they were evacuated by Magen David Adom teams to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer. About 20 additional residents are being treated on site and their condition is defined as mild, and about 40 residents were evacuated from the building. According to the Fire and Rescue Services, the fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of an eight-story building, and several residents were found trapped in the burning apartment. A fire investigator was summoned to examine the circumstances of the fire, which was extinguished by firefighters.
