|
The prosecution filed an indictment with the Tel Aviv District Court against Ghazi Ashkar (34) from Jaffa, accused of murdering Mustafa Abu Lasan using an explosive device planted in his car about two and a half months ago. According to the indictment, Ashkar and others located Abu Lasan, followed him and attached a tracking device and explosive charge to his vehicle. When Abu Lasan arrived at a gas station in Holon and parked in a nearby parking lot, the accomplices remotely detonated the explosive device, causing a powerful explosion in the car that led to his death. The explosion caused severe damage to seven other vehicles parked nearby, two of which were completely burned.
