The advisory committee for senior appointments in the civil service, headed by former Supreme Court President Asher Grunis, will convene next week to complete discussions on the appointment of the prime minister's military secretary, Roman Gofman, as head of the Mossad. The committee has not met for two months due to Grunis' illness, but now with his recovery will resume its activities. Gofman is expected to assume his position on June 1.
