An inspector was violently attacked during a routine inspection on an Egged Taavura bus in Netanya and was evacuated by ambulance to the hospital with a head injury. The inspector was allegedly attacked by a passenger who did not validate his fare on Route 60 traveling through the city. Egged Taavura stated: "There is not and cannot be any justification for violence against public transportation workers. We are shocked by the violent attack on the inspector, who was simply doing her job." The inspector filed a complaint with the police.
