Asher Fedi, one of Israel's greatest drummers, dies at 55

Asher Fedi, one of the greatest drummers in Israeli music who worked with dozens of artists and contributed to thousands of albums, has died at the age of 55 after battling illness. During his career, he worked with top artists including Shalom Hanoch, Yehuda Poliker, Sarit Hadad, Shlomi Shabat, Rita and many other performers. Fedi was a member of house bands for popular Israeli television talk shows, including programs hosted by Yair Lapid and the Ma Kashur trio, and regularly appeared on television screens in special programs, commercials and series soundtracks. He also participated in creating soundtracks for Israeli films and theater productions.
