The 15th Winner Jerusalem International Marathon kicked off, and a series of roads were closed in the capital and will only reopen at the end of the race, around 1 p.m. The following streets were closed to traffic: Ben Zvi and Rupin boulevards, Rabin Boulevard, Kaplan Street, Keren Hayesod Street, King George Street, Emek Refaim Street and Hebron Road. Despite the closures, the city's light rail will continue to operate as usual, and Israel Railways is running service during the day, but in accordance with police instructions, capacity will be limited to 1,200 passengers per train.
