National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir approved the addition of five cities and municipalities to the list of communities eligible for private gun licenses, including Kiryat Gat, Kiryat Malachi, Gan Yavne, Megiddo Regional Council and Tel Mond. This means that approximately 100,000 additional citizens will be eligible to carry private firearms.
