Education Ministry: No classes on Lag B'Omer following teachers' union agreement

The Education Ministry announced that classes will not be held on Lag B'Omer. According to the ministry, this decision follows agreements between the Finance Ministry and the Teachers' Union, which will add two vacation days for teaching staff in kindergartens, elementary schools and middle schools. As a result, on Lag B'Omer there will be no classes in kindergartens, elementary schools and middle schools in the official education system.
