A police officer holding the rank of deputy commissioner, who commands a station in the northern region, was interrogated by the Police Internal Investigations Department on suspicion of maintaining a prohibited relationship with a subordinate under his command, as well as on suspicion of committing an indecent act against another female officer. At the conclusion of the investigation, he was released under restrictive conditions, including a 12-day ban from any police facility and a prohibition on contacting officers from the station he commanded. The investigation began about a month ago, following a report submitted to the department.
