IDF rejects Colonel Solomon's cover-up allegations: 'His statements harm the military and its commanders'

|
The IDF rejected claims by Colonel Oren Solomon, the Gaza Division investigator of the October 7 events - who was suspected of removing classified documents and whose investigation was closed - who alleged he was being persecuted by military officials and that former IDF Chief of Staff Hertzi Halevi tried to cover up his investigations. "Solomon did not serve as head of the General Staff war investigation team or any similar appointment. In March, it was decided to end his service with no connection to his conclusions in the investigations or the Military Police investigation," the IDF stated, "His statements harm the IDF and its commanders and cast doubt on the integrity of hundreds of servicemembers who worked on the October 7 investigations."
