The Iranian news agency Fars, identified with the ayatollah regime, reported that "one of Iran's newest and most powerful missiles, Khormshahr-4, has been deployed for the first time in underground missile cities belonging to the Revolutionary Guards. This significantly enhances combat capabilities to an unprecedented level." The report also claimed that the new missile reaches speeds of about Mach 16 (about 16 times the speed of sound) outside the atmosphere and Mach 8 within it, which is expected to reduce the missile's arrival time to about 10 to 12 minutes from the moment of launch.
